Bellwether Recuperative Gasification
Created in 2006, Bellwether Gasification Technologies Ltd. is an innovative technology company specialized in gasification technologies. The company has developed a proprietary and patented technology - the IMRG (Integrated Multifuel Recuperative Gasification) which processes all caloric waste streams to produce a clean synthesis gas that can be used for energy production on the one hand, and the treatment of gaseous pollutants and the inertization of toxic substances on the other.

With locations in Germany, China and USA, Bellwether Recuperative Technologies builds, owns and operates gasification facilities that use our proprietary patented IMRG Technology to convert municipal, household, commercial or industrial waste into renewable energy and other valuable products.

Our new technologically development is a recuperative system and represent our 4th generation design under the platform IMRG (Integrated Multifuel Recuperative Gasification).

Bellwether is managed by an experienced team with successful track records and more than 30 years of experience in gasification technologies. Our dedicated, highly specialized and skilled staff offers conceptual design, basic and detailed engineering, project management, manufacturing, quality control service and maintenance of your gasification plant. We also focus on further development of our proprietary IMRG Technology.

The IMRG Technology is the result of years of experience in gasification technologies. Extensive experimentation, research and development have resulted in the development of groundbreaking performance of the IMRG, both economically and environmentally. Our first commercial industrial plant was built in Brasov - Romania.

An independent unit in a given environment that creates or influences trends is called bellwether.
The term derives from a term in Middle English, describing a castrated ram (a wether) with a bell around its neck, leading a flock of sheep. Through the sound of the bell the movement of the flock could be perceived without seeing it.

In this sense, Bellwether Recuperative Gasification set the newest standards among all existing waste utilization technologies and will lead the Energy Sector into the next century.

Waste considerately differs in state, origin and composition and as a result, it is disposed, treated or utilized accordingly. With reference to the present situation backed by climate change, rising energy and raw material prices, waste has become a valuable resource with extensive utilization.

When all different fractions of waste have been sorted, recycled and reused, Bellwether Recuperative Gasification provides thermal treatment for the remaining calorific material to produce electricity, district heating & process steam.The residual inorganic material is used in construction works.
This method provides an effective means of treating the waste in an environmentally friendly way.
